Greetings. If you are interested in purchasing prints or licensing images
by Steven Christenson, then this is the page you want. There is not a fancy
website here. For your convenience my most popular prints can be directly
ordered via the "Image Selection" tab. You can even customer order anything
you find on my Flickr site using the link at the bottom, however I'll be
glad to answer your questions via email ().
There are two ways you can obtain my images: buy a print (the easiest and least costly way) and by licensing them. Generally you will use a print for personal purposes, as a gift or memento. Licensing gets the actual digital image for a specified time and for a specified purpose. See the "Licensing" tab.
In rare instances my images are made available for free for limited personal use. Only images clearly marked this way are available for such use. Click the "Free" tab above for more information. Use of any other images for any purpose without payment is theft of my copyrighted material. Removal of my copyright marks from images is especially frowned upon by the law and people like me who work hard to create art. The prints I sell and images I license do not carry my copyright.
If you would like a matted, framed item, please contact me.
THANK YOU for your interest!
Prints are on Fuji Crystal Archive paper and printed on Noritsu printers using a "wet process" (just like a regular photograph). Stable shelf life under normal conditions should be 10-30 years, and longer - up to 200 years - if kept under archival conditions (under UV glass in low humidity, low heat, low light areas). Although the images show include my watermarks and copyrights the actual image you receive does not include those marks. Not all images are available in all print sizes.
Normal cost, including shipping
(standard SHIPPING IS FREE until November 1, 2011), are
as follows for the listed sizes. All sizes are listed in inches. Generally shipping materials plus
shipping costs run $5 for the small sizes and about $10 for the larger
sizes. Priority shipping is more. Costs are for domestic US shipping only.
Contact me if you would like me to ship somewhere outside the US.
Size Cost (cost with Packaging & Shipping)
8x10 $50 (Standard $50.
Priority $65)
8x12*
$60 (Standard $70, Priority $90)
11x14 $76 (Standard $88, Priority
$108)
12x18* $106
(Standard $120, Priority $140)
16x20 $130 (Standard $145, Priority $165)
delivered in a tube mailer
20x30 $250 (Standard $270. Priority $295) Matte
finish only, delivered in a tube mailer
If you order more than one image shipping for the second through fourth same or smaller sized image is free if all are shipped to the same address. I do not offer prints smaller than 8x10 except in large quantities.
Please contact me via email () if you wish to purchase a print that is not listed on the Image Selection tab. Most of my Flickr images have specific numbers on them. Please supply the image number (appears between [ and ] in the title, see the example on the Image Ordering Tab), and the complete image name if you are interested in placing an order. On request I will supply information about when and where the image was taken and sometimes other interesting factoids.
Please also note that the colors you see on your monitor may be different from those in the printed image. Normally the variance is not significant. Not all images are available in all sizes.
Note: *8x12 and 12x18 may require custom framing or matting - they happen to be the sizes I generally suggest as they are better for landscapes.I license my work for commercial, charitable and other use. My clients include the National Maritime Museum (United Kingdom), The California Wine Institute, East Bay Regional Parks, Venture Christian Church, and others. License fees depend on use and the image(s) being sought. If you would like to license an image, please identify which images and how you would like to use them. I will send you a quote and the terms of the license. My license terms are simple - it will not require a lawyer to figure out what you are getting. If inquiring about a license, please include the following information:
I accept payment via PayPal or AmazonPayments. Other forms of payment can be negotiated. I expect payment in full in advance of printing and shipping the images.

Second Cascade, Alamere Falls
[4_000236] An oldie but a goodie. This is part of a four stage fall that spills into the Pacific Ocean in Point Reyes National Seashore. A 6 mile round trip hike is required to get here - and willingness to pass through huge amounts of poison oak which encroach on the trail. |
